The Founder
Mutasim Billah
Founder, Utvek
15 years of multifaceted experience behind the birth of Utvek.
Mutasim Billah founded Utvek in 2025 after 15+ years working across UX/UI design, project management, behavioral research, and commercial photography.
As Design Team Lead and Product Owner at an international software development consultancy in Stockholm, Sweden, he led 50+ projects, up to 20 concurrent projects across multiple teams, some of which were over a year long.
He has personally tested and analyzed 150+ product prototypes alongside designers from some of the world’s leading companies. His design literacy and academic background in behavioral microeconomics sits at the foundation of Utvek.
He is also an internationally awarded portrait photographer who has worked with people across 45+ nationalities. He studied in the British national curriculum throughout school years in Dhaka, with university education in Sweden where he lived most of his adult life.
The sum is a cross-cultural mind adept in visual judgment and cultural literacy in ways that can perceive businesses with more depth than the average designer.
